Bryan ISD is honoring the military, by hosting events across the district in the days surrounding Veteran's Day, Nov. 11. We are deeply indebted to the men and women who keep our country free. As small token of our appreciation, the following events will be held in their honor:
Nov. 6, 2:30 p.m. & 6:00 p. m. - Johnson Elementary 5th Grade Veteran's Day Music Program. All Veterans in our community are invited.
Nov. 7, 7:30 p.m. “Patriotic Extravaganza” Bryan Viking/Rudder Ranger Football game. Merrill Green Stadium. Festivities will include an “all bands” half-time performance, entertaining both sides of the stadium and honoring veterans.
Nov. 9 – 2 p.m. Bryan High School Band will @ Brazos Valley Vietnam Veterans Memorial unveiling at Clara Mounce Library, downtown Bryan.
Nov. 11, 9 a.m. - Jane Long MS Chamber Orchestra and Jane Long MS Band Wind Ensemble Performs @ Veterans Day Assembly.
Nov. 11, 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. - Mitchell Elementary Veteran's Day Program "Saluting our Veterans: Uncle Sam is Who I Am".
Nov. 11, 6:00 p.m. - Sam Houston Elementary Grade 4 Veteran's Day Concert. (This event is for veteran's related to Houston students.)
Nov. 11, 5:30 p.m. - Henderson Elementary Parent Night and 6:30 p.m. 4th grade Veterans Day Musical
Nov. 11, 6:30 p.m. - Bowen Elementary 5th Grade Veteran's Day Program.
Nov. 11, 8:30 a.m. - Sam Rayburn MS Veterans Day Program. Veterans are invited and can access the invitation form here.
Nov. 11, 10:20 a.m.-12:15 p.m. (school lunch hours) Navarro Elementary Veteran's Luncheon Celebration. Veterans are invited to join the students for lunch.
Nov. 11, 1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Fannin Elementary 4th Grade Veteran's Day Program.
Nov. 11, 1:30 p.m. in cafeteria - Kemp-Carver Elementary will be participating in the Suddenlink Veteran's Day program. All 3rd-5th graders will attend. 4th graders will be putting on a musical performance of patriotic songs and there will be a guest speaker. Refreshments will be provided for veterans that attend.
Nov. 13, 6:00 p.m. in gym, Crockett Elementary 2nd and 3rd grades will perform "Songs of America" and honor local veterans.
