Celebrations

While we know it’s summer break, we still have students and groups throughout Bryan ISD doing amazing things! Just this past weekend, both Bryan High School and Rudder High School played in the 7 on 7 State Tournament that was held at Veterans Park. Both teams fought hard, making it to the Championship Bracket on Saturday. Also competing on a huge stage, our Bryan Viking Pit Smokers competed in the National High School BBQ Championship in Round Rock, TX. The team finished ranked 11th in the State of Texas and in the top 20 nationally.

Enrollment

We value you immensely in Bryan ISD! With so many opportunities and experiences for our students, we believe that our students have an endless amount of options and avenues to be successful. Therefore, if you know a new family in the area or a family that isn’t enrolled in Bryan ISD, I encourage you to tell them about all the great things happening in our district. They can enroll now for the 2023-2024 school year by visiting our website, www.bryanisd.org/enroll, calling 979-209-1000 (pressing “3” for enrollment) or visiting their child’s school.

Building Progress

Sadberry Intermediate School will be opening its doors to their very first Mustangs in August. Over the last several weeks, the final touches on the building have been happening and it’s been incredible to see all that our students will have access to and be able to experience. From the brand new books and moon chairs in the library, to the huge surrounding curtains in the theater room, I am certain that our students will love it.

I am confident that as our summer break continues, our administration will continue to work and prepare for your child(children) walking into their new classroom. It’s going to be another great school year. Please join the excitement by following our social media pages. As always, I am honored to walk alongside you supporting your child’s education. Happy 4th of July to you and your family and I hope your summer continues to be memorable and restful!

Sincerely,

Ginger Carrabine

Bryan ISD Superintendent
